(Francis Creek, WI) June 25 — The “Whitelaw Weapon” Kevin Naidl became the eight different winner in as many weeks of racing at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek. in the Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals. Naidl led every lap and sweated out four cautions to win the 20 lap feature.

Green Bay’s Jared Siefert won his fourth straight Modified feature, leading every lap en route to victory.

A total of 100 drivers turned out to race, including 16 Modifieds, 17 Stock Cars, 16 Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals, 21 Sportmods, 16 Street stocks and 14 Sport fours.

Naidl sprinted into the lead at the drop of the green and sweated out three early caution periods. With five laps to go Chilton’s Steve Schneider closed the gap on Naidl, and as the white flag was displayed Schneider pulled door-to-door as they pair crossed the line. As the pair exited turn two, Schneider, who was on the inside, bobbled slightly, handing the lead and eventual win to Naidl, a former mini stock driver.

Manitowoc’s Logan Rhode took second followed by Chilton’s Tom Schneider. Steve Schneider recovered from his miscue to take fourth. Brillion’s Alex Stumpf rounded out the top five finishers.

Siefert pulled away from fellow front row starter Randy Markwardt Jr. as the Modified field took the green in their main. Siefert quickly pulled away from the field, building up a full straightaway lead by the halfway point. Denmark’s Tim Czarneski broke through traffic and kept the second spot, but the caution he needed to catch the defending track champion never came and Siefert won his fourth straight. Czarneski took runnerup honors, followed by Green Bay’s Eddie Muenster, Sobieski’s Sean Jerovetz and Sheboygan’s Randy Markwardt Jr., who posted his best performance of the year.

Pulaski’s Junior Karcz won his fourth Stock car feature, and took over the division’s points lead in the process. Greenleaf’s Mike Gilson took second, followed by Oconto’s Dustin Loberger, and brothers John and Rick Mahlberg, who took fourth and fifth, respectively. Appleton’s Kevin Hebbe finished 10th and was the winner of the $100 Manitowoc Motor Machining product gift certificate.

Kewaunee’s Brian Bruechert captured his first sportmod feature win of the season, passing New Franken’s Mark Joski in the final laps the seal the win. Joski hung on for second place money, followed by Sturgeon Bay’s Ryan LeMieux, Green Bay’s Eric Mahlik and Suamico’s Andy KIeczka.

Defending street stock champion Ryan Brandes of Brillion, team driving for Randy Rahn, took the lead on lap six and went on to win the street stock feature. Appleton’s Josh Novak took second, followed by Greenville’s Danny Gracyalny, Stockbridge’s Adam Broehm and Elkhart Lake’s Brad Ruh.

Sheboygan’s Mike Zitzer swept action in the sport four class, winning both his heat and the caution free 15 lap feature.
