REINKE CAPTURES 141 IRA OUTLAW SPRINT CAR MAIN

(Francis Creek, WI) May 30 – Howards Grove’s Mike Reinke grabbed the lead on a lap five restart
and went on to capture the 30 lap Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw sprint car feature at 141 Speedway Sunday night before a capacity crowd.
An opening lap wreck in turn four collected four cars, among them the points leader Scott Neitzel of Beaver Dam. The wreck sent Neitzel to the pits. Earlier in the evening Neitzel had established a
New track record in qualifying.
Eau Claire’s Billy Balog grabbed the early lead until lap four when Kewauskum’s Donny Goeden slapped the frontstretch wall, drawing an amber. When racing resumed Reinke sped out to a sizeable lead and began sifting through lapped cars right down the the checkered flag. Balog
hung on for second, followed by Sheboygan Falls Steve Meyer, Antioch, IL driver Tommy Sexton
And West Bend’s Scott Biertzer.
Brillion’s Ben Stumpf swept action in the grand national sportsman class, winning his heat and
the 20 lap feature, as did Algoma’s Marcus Moede in the IMCA hobby stock division. Pulaski’s
Justin Vannieuwenhoven pulled off the same feat in the sport four class.
Racing resumes Wednesday, June 2 as the Dugout and Knox’s Silver Valley banquet hall
will sponsor the racing. The guest class will be the grand national sportsman. Racing gets
