KUDICK PARLAYS LATE RACE PASS INTO 141 SPEEDWAY IMCA MOD WIN

(Francis Creek, WI) June 8 – Two Rivers’ Kyle Kudick drove around Green Bay’s Eric Mahlik with two laps to go and went on to capture the IMCA modified feature at 141 Speedway Saturday night.
A total of 141 cars checked in to compete, including 33 Hansel Trucking IMCA modifieds, 14 Brian Peterson Grand Nationals, 25 IMCA stock cars, 26 Tisler Salvage street stocks, 25 Hansel Trucking IMCA northern sportmods and 19 sport fours.
By virtue of his win, Kudick earned a starting spot in the “Big Cash Dash” $10,000-to-win Clash @ Creek V provisional qualifying event on Saturday, June 15.
In the IMCA stock cars Scott Stewart of Oconto took the lead on lap five and sweated out a few cautions but captured his first feature win of the season. Logan Rhode of Whitelaw finished a season best second place with Oconto’s Dustin Loberger third. Greenleaf’s Mike Gilson and Gillett’s Kyle Fredrick placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Mike Dauphinais of Green Bay leads most of the race and goes on to win his second career feature win at 141 Speedway. Ben Van Wyk of Waldo charged from fifteenth to pick up second in the Hansel Trucking IMCA sport mod main. Points leader Josh Long of Little Suamico comes home in third with Rob Charapata of Oconto in fourth and JJ Andersen of Pulaski in fifth.
In the Tisler Salvage street stocks John Ashcraft of Oshkosh won his first feature win here of the season . Point leader Paul Diefenthaler of Manitowoc made a pass in turn four for the second spot over Jerry Kope of Oshkosh and Shawn Haydon of Greenville rounding out the top four.
Kevin Naidl “The Whitelaw Weapon” lead from the drop of the green and fended off a hard charging second place finisher Charlie Sancinati of West Allis to pick up the feature win in the Brian Peterson Grand Nationals. Kodiak Wirtz of Menomonee Falls makes the long haul pay off by picking up a podium finish in third. Shawn Schmitt of Manitowoc scores fourth and will be the new point’s leader with Dan Schumacher of Milwaukee charging from thirteenth to capture fifth.
Former track champion Ralph Liegois Jr. won the sport four feature.
Nascar star Kenny Schrader from Fenton, Missouri will be here June 22 wheeling his federated sponsored modified.
