(Francis Creek, WI) May 19 –Mishicot’s Kyle Kudick passed Green Bay’s Eddie Muenster for the lead on lap fourteen and went on to win the 20 lap IMCA modified feature night at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
Kudick caught up with early race leader Muenster on lap four and continued to pressure the veteran driver. The duo traded paint for the next several laps until Kudick muscled inside of Muenster for the lead with six laps remaining. Green Bay’s Jared Siefert, caught up with Kudick and pressured him in the waning laps but Kudick held on for the win. Siefert took second, followed by Muenster, Tim Czarnecki of Denmark and New London’s Mike Wedelstadt.
Denmark’s Rick Mahlberg fought heavy pressure from Greenleaf’s Mike Gilson to capture the 20 lap IMCA stock car main, the third of his career. Gilson hung on for runnerup honors, followed by Oconto’s Scott Stewart, Pulaski’s Junior Karcz who salvaged a fourth place finish despite pitting for a cut tire, and Algoma veteran Tony Bouche.

Action was halted during an IMCA stock car heat when Green Bay’s Mike Pierrard and Little Suamico’s Tyler De Bauche locked horns on the fronstretch, with De Bauche’s car rolling over twice. Both drivers were unhurt.
