OPEN PRACTICE SESSION TO KICK OFF 141 SPEEDWAY CLASH @ CREEK V JUNE 25
($10,000-to-win highest paying modified event in Northeast Wisconsin history)
(Francis Creek, WI) June 24 – An open practice session Tuesday, June 25 will officially kick off the Clash at the Creek V at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
The shakedown session is open to cars in any and all divisions. It will run from 3 p.m. til dusk.
Many modified teams will be on hand practicing, getting their setups dialed in for the $10,000-to-win, 50 lap modified feature that will be run Thursday night. A competition yellow will be thrown at lap 25, in which teams will have 10 minutes to make changes to their cars. Spectator admission to practice is free while a $15 pit pass will be charged to enter the pits on practice day.
A full modified program will take place Wednesday and Thursday nights. The top seven finishers in Wednesday nights main event will be locked into the big show on Thursday.
Nearly 60 drivers from three states are already pre entered into the big show, with many more out-of-state entrants expected to “pop in” to take advantage of the Tuesday practice session.
The debut of the Iron Horse Sales & Service Badger Stock Tour presented by Kick Ass Drive Train & Iron Horse Recycling will take place on Thursday night as well, with a field of more than 40 of the states top drivers expected. Free camping is being offered to fans and teams on a first come, first served basis. A massive fireworks display Thursday will cap off the two day event.
Adult admission prices for the two day Clash for ages 15 and up will be $20.00 for Wednesday, $25.00 for Thursday and a $40.00, two day pass being offered. For students ages 7-14 prices will be $15.00 Wednesday, $20.00 Thursday and a $30.00 two day pass. Ages 6 and under are free with a paid adult both days. Racing gets underway at 7 p.m. both nights.
