MILLER LITE NIGHT AT 141 SPEEDWAY JULY 7

(Francis Creek, WI) July 3 – After a Saturday off, weekly racing resumes at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek Saturday, July 7 on Miller Lite/Triangle Distributing night at the races.

In the modified division New Franken’s Shawn Kilgore has had the field covered so far in the first half of 2012. Wheeling a Slick chassis, Kilgore holds a 16 point lead over defending track champion Sean Jerovetz of Sobieski and former IMCA northern sportmod track champion Johnny “Hitman” Whitman.

Both drivers are tied for second place. So far 56 different modified drivers have competed in weekly racing action.

In the rough-and-tumble stock car division defending track champion Larry “Jr” Karcz of Pulaski holds a 14 point lead over arch rival John Heinz of Green Bay. To date 52 different drivers have made laps at 141 in weekly racing.

Suamico’s Josh Long has his eye on his first ever track title at 141 in the IMCA northern sportmod division. Long leads Kewaunee’s “Flyin Brian” Bruechert by a mere three points. Bruechert’s coming off a win at the Clash @ Creek IV Wednesday, June 27. 54 different drivers have competed in weekly racing so far in this class this year.

Veteran Brian Peterson Builders grand national driver Don Sorce Jr. of West Allis has been the class of the field so far this year. Sorce has a comfortable 27 point lead over Manitowoc’s Logan Rhode. 29 different grand nationals have taken part in weekly racing action this year.

Former IMCA hobby stock champion George Paul of Luxemburg sits atop the Tisler Salvage street stock division, leading Tony Everard of Green Bay and hometown driver Kraig Koehler. Both drivers are tied for second place, 22 points behind the leader. 60 different drivers have competed in street stock action this year.

Oconto Falls Brian Johnson holds a sizeable 27 points lead over Abrams Mike Montie in the sport four class, which has seen 39 different competitors this season.
