IMCA STOCK CARS SHINE AT 141 SPEEDWAY “CLASH AT THE CREEK II” AUGUST 4

(Francis Creek, WI) July 15 — A $700 top prize awaits the IMCA stock car driver who wins the “Clash at the Creek II” at 141 Speedway on Wednesday, August 4.

The class “too tough to tame” in northeast Wisconsin will be the headlining act on Wisconsin’s newest, third-mile, clay oval. The Wednesday race will replace the Saturday August 7 date which was on 141 Speedway’s original schedule. After much debate and consideration, that date has been cancelled. “We’re doing this out of respect for Tony Bouche and his family for the Nathan Bouche Memorial,” said track promoter Bruce Conard. “Tony’s been a big supporter of 141 Speedway. The stock cars have provided some of the best racing at our track all year. This is just one way to reward them. We hope everyone comes out and supports the show on August 4.”

20 cars will start the 25 lap feature, which will pay out track, state, regional and national points. The big money is expected to draw some of the top stock car drivers across the region. IMCA northern sportmods, grand national sportsman, street stocks and sport fours will also compete. The IMCA classes will be paid state, regional and national points. A draw/redraw format will be employed for all divisions that night.

Webmaster Chewy of Tonet has sponsored a $100 long haul award to the driver in any division who makes the furthest tow for the event.

Pit pass prices for this event will be $20.00 for members, $25.00 for non-members.
