HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS CANCEL 141 IRA GO

(Francis Creek, WI) Sept 4 – A huge downpour just prior to qualifying forced 141 Speedway and Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series officials to cancel their scheduled program here tonight.

Two more big events dot 141 Speedway’s 2011 calendar. The two day Creek Classic will take place October 7 and 8. In action will be the track’s weekly, Saturday night headlining class the Modifieds. Late Models will also be in action, along with Grand Nationals, Stock Cars, Sportmods, Street stocks, Hobby stocks and Sport 4’s.

Racing gets underway at 5 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be live entertainment on Friday night with the band Oil Can Harry and Running Blind performing on Saturday night.

Free camping will be allowed on the grounds beginning Wednesday night. The raindate for this event, if needed, will be Sunday October 9.

The annual “Night of Mayhem” will take place Saturday, October 15. Trailer races will highlight the activities, which will include, but are not limited to: chain races, double O races, and much, much more. Action begins at 3 p.m. on October 15.
