FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT, POWDER PUFF RACES HIGHLIGHT SMET CONSTRUCTION NIGHT AT 141 SPEEDWAY AUGUST 11
(All cancer survivors get in free)
(Francis Creek, WI) Aug. 7 – Free beer and a corn roast after the races are just two of many “extras” that will be thrown into the mix for fans on Smet Construction night at 141 Speedway Saturday, August 11.
The corn roast and free beer have become a tradition on Fan Appreciation night at 141 over the years. What’s more, the Powder Puff races will also take place after the regular program. In addition, the Cancer Survivor night presented by Holy Family Memorial Hospital and TA Motorsports has been rescheduled as all cancer survivors will be admitted into the races free of charge.
Ladies competing in the Powder Puff races must purchase a pit pass and have be signed in at the pit shack prior to intermission.
Last week’s races were rained out. It was only the second rainout of the season at the third-mile, clay oval.
The six division program gets underway at 6 p.m. Modifieds, stock cars, Brian Peterson Builders grand nationals, Tisler Salvage street stocks, IMCA northern sportmods and sport fours will all compete.
