DRIVERS TO BE REWARDED WITH CAR, MOTOR GIVEAWAYS AT 141 SPEEDWAY AUGUST 18
(Francis Creek, WI) August 3 – Drivers who have survived the long grind of the weekly racing season at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek have a shot to go home with a new motor or race car within the coming weeks.
On Dorsch Ford Lincoln Kia night Saturday, August 18 141 Speedway will be giving away a race ready Harris sportmod (minus the transmission) and also new powerplants in the IMCA northern sportmod, modified, stock car and Tisler Salvage street stock classes. A sportmods a GM 602 crate motor sponsored by Gandrud Chevrolet will be drawn separately from the race car.
Drivers who’ve competed in 75 percent of the tracks weekly shows are eligible for a drawing in the respective divisions. In addition, division drivers who earn 100 percent attendance racing their cars all year will receive a mulligan – an extra chip in the drawing bag.
Entering the races coming up on August 4, a total of 68 drivers in the four divisions all have a crack at winning the motors and a car. To date, 37 different drivers have scored perfect attendance in the four classes.
“For us its simply about awarding the drivers who’ve supported us all year long,” said track promoter Bruce Conard. “Sometimes it’s tough to make it to the track each week. And for those teams that go the extra mile, they’ve got a chance to go home with a motor or a car, depending upon which division they are in.
15 modified drivers are eligible for the motor drawing. They include Shawn Kilgore, Sean Jerovetz, Johnny Whitman, Tim Czarneski, Dean Maurer, RM Van Pay, Randy Markwardt, Kyle Lentz, Jared Siefert, Russ Reinwald, Jay Matthias, Jeremy Jacobs, Jamie Schmidt, Shawn Frelich and Michelle Loy.
25 IMCA northern sportmods drivers are eligible to win both a motor or a race car. They are: Josh Long, Brian Bruechert, Brad Lautenbach, Troy Jerovetz, Eric Mahlik, JJ Anderson, Brandon Long, Scott Boyea, Chad Kaminski, Jesse Brey, Rob Charapada, Tyler Hackett, Mike Dauphinais, Chad Vetting, Andy Kleczka, Mark Joski, Ryan LeMieux, Greg Potts, Brian Reif, Jessi Ness, Nick Mahlik, Brandon Kaye, Brandon Tegen and Derek Kaye.
16 different stock car drivers are in the running. They include John Heinz, Junior Karcz, Tyler Smith, Mike Gilson, Brett Wenzel, Todd Augustain, Roger Johnson, Josh Mroczkowski, Luke Lemmens, Jerry Leary, Dan Nelson, Jeremy Jauquet, Chris Malfroid, Tyler Derenne, Keith Kellenbenz and Wade Vogeline.
One dozen different Tisler Salvage street stocks are eligible for the drawings. They include: George Paul, Kraig Koehler, Brad Laurent, Tony Everard, Team Hebel, Dave Gauger Sr., Matt McDonald, Carl Slack, Mike Zitzer, Paul Diefenthaler, John Adams and Jordan Parma.
Among the businesses supporting these motor and car giveaways are 141 Speedway, Tri County Heating, Jerovetz Shock Services, S & B Trailer Sales, Victory Sign, Thunderrock Fabrication and Manitowoc Motor and Machine.
