COLD, DAMP WEATHER FORCES 141 SPEEDWAY RACES CANCELLED APRIL 28
(Francis Creek, WI) April 28 – With bitterly cold temperatures and rain forecast for the evening, 141 Speedway has decided to cancel the planned races for Saturday, April 28.
Weekly racing will resume next Saturday night, May 5.
On April 21 three classes saw drivers score clean sweeps, including Valders Chad Vetting (IMCA northern sportmods), Francis Creek’s Kraig Koehler (Tisler Salvage street stocks) and defending track champion Ralph Liegois Jr. (sport fours).
In the modifieds, Luxemburg native Benji LaCrosse holds a slim, one point lead over Green Bay’s “Crocodile Kyle” Lentz and opening night feature winner New Franken’s Shawn Kilgore. 141 Speedway doles out heat points as well, which allows LaCrosse to be in the points lead.

Oconto’s Dustin Loberger is in third, two points away from the leader. West Allis veteran Don Sorce Jr. was the opening night feature winner in the Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals. Freedom’s Travis Springstroh holds a three point lead over Two Rivers Jeremy Hebel in the Tisler Salvage street stocks while Little Chute’s Cody Hungerford and Oconto’s Mike Montie remain tied in the sport four points.
In the season’s first two races 204 different drivers have already competed at the third-mile, clay oval.
