BUMPER TO BUMPER IRA OUTLAWS INVADE 141 SPEEDWAY SEPTEMBER 4
(THIRD APPEARANCE OF THE WINGED WARRIORS IN 2011)
(Francis Creek, WI) Aug. 29 – The third appearance of the season of the 900-horsepower, winged Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints at 141 Speedway will be Sunday, September 4.
Joining the fastest machines on dirt will be the Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals, Sport 4′s and the Legends. The shows will be a draw/redraw format and non-points for the Grand Nationals and Sport 4′s.
Eau Claire’s Billy Balog has dominated in IRA Outlaw Sprints series with 10 wins this year and has won the past two shows this season at 141 on both Memorial Day and July 4th weekends. More than 30 sprinters from three states are expected. The track record holder is Scotty Neitzel of Beaver Dam with a lap of 11.001 set on Memorial Day weekend earlier this year. IRA insiders are predicting a 10 second qualifying lap if track conditions are prime.
Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. Qualifying is slated for 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow.
