BONUS BUCKS ON THE LINE FOR 141 SPEEDWAY IMCA NORTHERN SPORTMODS
(GANDRUD CHEVROLET TO THROW IN EXTRA MONEY TO CRATE MOTOR DRIVERS)
(Francis Creek, WI) May 18 – IMCA northern sportmod drivers who compete weekly at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek will be earning some extra cash each week, thanks to Gandrud Chevrolet in Green Bay.
Starting Saturday night, May 19 Gandrud will be throwing an extra $50 cash to the top two feature finishers in the sportmods class who run the GM 602 crate motor. The program will be called the “Gandrud Crate Cash” program. “Gandrud has been a supporter of 141 Speedway even when we were pavement and we appreciate their support,” said track promoter Bruce Conard. “In addition the sportmods have had the highest car counts on a fairly consistent basis, so if we can throw a little extra cash in the pockets of some of our top performers on a weekly basis, it’s like icing on the cake as far as we’re concerned.”
The “Gandrud Crate Cash” will be awarded during weekly, IMCA northern sportmod points racing at 141.
Located in Green Bay at 919 Auto Plaza Drive, Gandrud Chevrolet remains one of the largest GM Parts dealers in the Midwest. They have several locations in Green Bay. They offer one of the largest GM Engine and Transmission dealers in the country. They carry both the 602 and 604 crate motors in stock, along with a bevy of parts as well.
