141 SPEEDWAY SLASHES PRICES FOR CREEK CLASSIC OCT. 7 & 8
(Francis Creek, WI) October 2 — 141 Speedway in Francis Creek has announced it will slash admission prices for it’s Creek Classic slated for October 7 and 8.
Adult admission for Friday night’s action will be just 10 dollars, while students and seniors will pay just $7. Saturday’s adult ticket will be $15 with students and seniors $10. A two day ticket will be only $22 for adults and students and seniors will pay just $15.
“With the economy in the state it’s in, we’ve decided to help out the fans as much as possible,” said track promoter Bruce Conard. “With these late season specials fans want to feel that they’re going to get their monies worth, and not and that’s what we’re going to do.”
Eight divisions of racing will take place on Friday and Saturday. In action will be the track’s weekly, Saturday night headlining class the Modifieds. Late Models will also be in action, along with Grand Nationals, Stock Cars,
Sportmods, Street stocks, Hobby stocks and Sport 4′s.
Racing gets underway at 5 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
There will be live entertainment on Friday night with the band Oil Can Harry and Running Blind performing on Saturday night. Free camping will be allowed on the grounds beginning Wednesday night. The raindate for this event, if needed, will be Sunday October 9.
