141 SPEEDWAY SEASON PASS GIVEAWAY AT BAY PARK SQUARE CAR SHOW MARCH 2 & 3
(Green Bay, WI) February 22 – Some lucky race fan will come away with a 2013 season pass to 141 Speedway in Francis Creek Saturday & Sunday March 2 & 3. Fans can sign up for the giveaway at the Bay Park Square Mall in Ashwaubenon. The Mall is playing host to the 141 Speedway/Badger Mod Tour race car show.
Fans can simply submit an entry at the 141 Speedway booth at the Mall show, and the drawing will take place after the show Sunday evening. The season pass will be good for regular, weekly shows and not good for any special events at the Speedway in 2013.
The car show is sponsored by Directional Drilling Services, IRA Sprint Car Series, Lusier Well Drilling, KSI Racing Supply, Sippel Open Wheel racing school, Wild Inc., 141 Speedway and the Badger Mod Tour. One dozen machines representing several different classes will be on display. The show has been resurrected at the popular Mall after a one year absence.
The Mall hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Many of the drivers will be available throughout the weekend to sign autographs and distribute their sponsors product/service information, as well as hand out autographed race cards.
141 Speedway’s season kicks off April 12 and 13, with a Custom Windows Plus Badger Mod Tour presented by Gandrud Chevrolet opener Friday night. All the tracks other weekly classes will compete Friday night. Two nights of racing are on tap with IMCA modifieds, stock cars, Mike Hansel Trucking northern sportmods, Tisler Salvage street stocks, Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals and sport fours competing on Saturday night as well.
Highlighting the 141 season schedule will be the $10,000-to-win Clash at the Creek V June 26-27. The show is one of the highest paying modified events in Wisconsin history and has already drawn interest from drivers in several Midwestern states, including as far north as Canada and as far west as Nevada.
