141 SPEEDWAY’S $10,000-TO-WIN CLASH AT CREEK NIGHT ON DECK JULY 24
(Francis Creek, WI) July 22 – 141 Speedway is gearing up for night #2 of the $10,000-to-win Clash at the Creek V for modifieds Wednesday, July 24 at 7 p.m.
On June 27 Mother Nature wound up the big winner. Huge storms moved through the area late afternoon, forcing track officials to cancel the largest paying modified event in Eastern Wisconsin history.
To date nine different drivers are already locked into the 50 lap feature. They qualified in through the A main that was run on night #1 June 26. They are Green Bay drivers Troy Jerovetz, Benji LaCrosse and Jay Matthias, Gillett’s Tom Schaal, New Franken’s Shawn Kilgore, Denmark’s RM Van Pay, Luxemburg’s Jared Siefert, Seymour’s Brian Mullen and Algoma’s Todd Dart. Mullen earned the Badger Mod Tour provisional while Dart earned the 141 Speedway provisional. A full modified racing program will be run to fill the remaining 15 spots.
The program will also include the Iron Horse Sales & Service Badger Stock Tour presented by Kick Ass Drive Train & Iron Horse Recycling. 45 different drivers from three states took part in the BST’s first three events, with Pulaski’s “Hot Rod” Snellenberger winning two of the three events. Oconto’s Scott Stewart won the BST opener.
For drivers in both classes the draw opens at 4 p.m.
