Eligible Models
a. Front wheel drive compacts only
    1. Production series must be at least 10 years old.
    2. 3 or 4 cylinder models only
b. Maximum 3 valves per cylinder
c. 16 valve and twin cams are eligible with weight penalty

e. Maximum wheelbase of 104.5 inches.

Chassis
Frame
a. Completely stock unibody frame
b. No modifications allowed
Suspension
a. Stock suspension required.
b. Springs may not be cut or altered in any way
c. No spring spacers
d. Stock suspension for make, model and engine package
Camber
a. To change camber, stock holes may be slotted up to 1/2"
b. Any hole moved more than 1/2" must have prior approval
c. All hardware must be OEM or Grade 8 replacements
Sway Bars
a. Stock original sway bars only
b. Stock mounts only
c. No urethane mounts
d. No adjustments
Roll Cage
a. May either be of four point design or Enduro style
b. Welds must be of good quality.
c. 90 degree intersections should be gussetted.
d. Roll bar tubing must be 1 3/4 inch x .095
e. Two uprights, main hoop, must be behind the driver.
f. These uprights must be located as far towards the outside of the car as practical.
g. These uprights must be welded to 4 x 4 inch, 1/8 inch plate steel that is either welded or sandwich bolted to the body.
h. A horizontal bar, at shoulder height, connecting the two rear uprights, is mandatory.
i. The top of the cage should be at least 4 inches higher than the driver when seated with their helmet on.
j. Two "down bars" that attach at least 2/3rds of the way up the main hoop, and project to the rear of the car are mandatory with an Enduro hoop and optional with a 4 point cage.
k. No bars may pass forward through the front firewall.
l. Rear struts may be braced side to side.
Four Point Cages
a. There will be a minimum of 3 door bars on each side.
b. The driver's side door may be gutted for door bar installation.
Enduro Cage Cars
a. Must have at least 1 bar running forward from the main hoop between the driver and the driver door.
b. The outside of the driver door must have door plating starting at the rocker panel and going 12 inches up the door.
c. Plating must be at least 5 feet long
d. Plates must be at least 1/8" thick

Car Body
a. Must Remain Stock
Doors
a. Driver door must be welded at both front and rear edge of door with 10 gauge material or thicker.
b. If driver door is gutted for roll cage installation, then the roll cage must be plated with 1/8 inch thick metal top to bottom.
c. If driver door is not gutted for plated door bars, then 12 inches of plating, starting from the rocker panel up, must be welded to the outside of the door at least 5 feet long.
d Right side door may only be gutted if projecting door bars are installed.
e. Driver's side padding recommended.
f. No rub rails allowed
Hoods
a. Hoods must be pinned in front with at least two hood pins, but must remain on stock hinges.
b. Rear trunk lid must be pinned or hatchback welded shut.
c. No gutting of hoods, trunks or hatchback doors.
d. Remove under hood insulation.
Bumpers
a. Bumpers must be chained or cabled to the frame.
    1. The ends may be capped to the body with 16 gauge, no wider than the bumper.
b. No trailer hitches.
c. STOCK unaltered bumpers.
    1. Replacement bumper may be made out of tubing
    2. Maximum thickness .095
    3. Single tube only
d. Car must have wrecker tow chain in front and back of car.
Glass
a. All glass, except windshield, must be removed
b. If using lexan or screen for windshield, must be braced with either (2) 1" x 1/8" straps, or (3) 3/8" minimum square or round steel tubing, evenly spaced.
c. Mesh must be 1" or smaller, 0.035 minimum wire diameter type 304 stainless steel or equivalent
d. Drivers using screens must use approved full face helmet
f. No tinted windows
Numbers
a. Contrasting Colors
b. Height:
    1. Doors: Minimum 16" high
    2. Roof: Minimum 24" high
    3. Letter suffixes must be at least 50% of Number size
c. Width: Minimum 3"
d. Clearly readable from the scoring tower from any point on the racing surface
e. Front and rear bumper numbers must be a minimum of 5" high
f. No "spray can" numbering
g. Car make and model must be lettered on top 4" of windshield
h. No gutting of fenders, roofs, etc.

Driver's Compartment
Ignition Switch
a. Stock ignition switch preferred
b. Nonstock switches must be clearly labeled
c. Must be accessible from either side of car

Fire Extinguisher
a. Must be fully charged
b. Must be securely mounted within reach of driver
c. Must be quick release mounting
Padding in Drivers Area
a. Center of steering wheel must be padded
b. Roll bar must be padded by drivers head
c. Inside of drivers door must be padded
d. Additional padding required in areas of possible contact
Window Net
a. Net must be permanently mounted on bottom
b. Quick release mechanism must be toward front roll cage upright near roof
Seat
a. Stock seat may be used
b. properly installed approved aluminum seat
    1. Aluminum seat must be high back design
c. Headrest must be supported
d. Rib rest must remain flexible
e. Must be mounted with minimum 3/8" hardware

g. Minimum 6 mounting points

Five 5 Point Racing Harness

Steering and Pedals

Engines
a. Must be totally stock for make and model.
b. No Turbochargers

d. No rotary engines
e. Stock rebuild allowed maximum .040 overbore
f. Stock motor mounts in stock location
g. Stock air cleaner and stock air intake required
h. Carburetor, if so equipped, must be stock for make and model.
i. Air conditioner and smog pump may be removed
j. Two (2) throttle return springs mandatory
k. Every car must have either a muffler or catalytic converter.
    1. Must use stock down pipe from manifold to muffler and exhaust must exit behind driver

Transmissions

Brakes
a. Completely stock, fully functional at all 4 wheels..
b. All cars must have a functioning 3rd brake light.

Wheels and Tires
a. Steel wheels only.
b.. Any aftermarket wheels must match stock dimensions.
c. No wheel spacers.
d. All wheels must be of like size - all 13", 14" or 15".
e. All wheels must have 1 inch lug nuts.
f. Passenger car tires only.
g. 70-80 series only
h. Tires must have a minimum 2/32nd tread depth
i. Illegal tires will be confiscated.
j. No Tire softening or chemical treatment of any kind allowed
k. Track reserves the right to impound any tire for whatever length of time necessary to determine if it has been chemically treated.

Electrical
a. Battery may be relocated, but must be secured by a minimum 1/8 inch x 1 inch steel strap with minimum 3/8 inch hardware with large head washers.
b. If in driver's compartment, must be covered.
c. If tech inspectors can move battery at all, you will put it back under the hood.
d. Computer controls and wiring, including data port, must remain as it came from the factory on fuel injected cars.
e. All cars must have an alternator with belt.

Gas Tank
a. If stock gas tank is ahead of rear axle, it may remain in place.
b. If stock gas tank is behind the rear axle, it must be replaced with a fuel cell or a boat tank (maximum of 7.8 gallons).
c. Fuel cell/boat tank must be mounted by minimum 1/8 x 1 inch steel strap with minimum 3/8 inch hardware with large head washers and mounted in trunk.
d. Trunk firewall must be sealed off and fuel cell covered.
e. If fuel cell is in hatchback, the cell must be covered with a metal case.
f. If fuel line runs through the car, it must be sealed in conduit.
Fuel
a. No racing fuel of any type can be used.
    1. Fuel must be regular automotive pump gas only
    2. Track reserves the right to sample fuel to determine legality
Weight
a. The only weight or ballast allowed is handicap weight.
    1. Add 100 lbs. For 16 valves
    2. Add 100 lbs. For twin cam engine
    3. Weight will be bolted to passenger side seat mounts

Claim Rule
a. $900 claim or exchange on whole car
    1. Claiming not allowed last 2 weeks
b. The claim can be made on a top 3 car by a lead lap car only.
    1. Cash must be presented at time of claim.
    2. Driver being claimed may take claimer's car instead of the cash (swap cars).

Procedure
a. Any driver causing a caution will be done for that race.
    1. DO NOT stop on the track hoping for a caution Ð you will be black-flagged.
b. Drivers participating in any other division on the same night are not eligible to compete in this division.
c. The 141 Speedway officials will determine penalties for violations of any rules.
d. Top 3 finishing cars will stop at Start/Finish line.
    1. Competitors wishing to claim a car have the cool down lap to pull up behind the car they want to claim.

Safety Equipment
a. A drivers' suit of a flame retardant nature is highly recommended.
    1. Long sleeved shirt and long pants are required.
b. 5-point racing seat belt is mandatory.
    1. 3 inch lap and shoulder harness and a 2 inch submarine strap are required.
c. Racing window net with seat belt buckle release required.
    1. Seat belt latch will be in top front corner.
d. All bars around driver must be padded.
e. Aluminum racing seats are allowed and highly recommended.
f. Snell 2000 or newer helmet, neck brace, eye protection, and gloves required.
g All cars will be vigorously inspected for safety.
h. Fiberglass racing seats are not allowed.
i. No radio communication allowed.

Lineup
a. Sport 4's will race progressively through the Heat Races to determine event lineups.
    1. Drivers will draw for starting position on week 1
b. Cars will be lined up inverted by Handicap average.
c. Cars not having a Handicap average will be lined up in the rear.
d. You must be checked in by 5:30 p.m.
    1. Cars not checked in on time start at the rear
e. Features will be 25 laps
    1. 30 cars or more we will split the field and run 2 separate 20 lap A mains.

Miscellaneous
a. Disconnect any airbags.
b. Sunroof openings must be sealed off securely with steel.
c. Functional windshield wipers and washers recommended.
  
  1. May run rain or shine.
d. No traction control.
e. Track may allow cars one week grace.
f. No Titanium allowed anywhere.
