Racing Divisions

Fiberglass ASA bodies or Canadian built CASCAR bodies cover the outside of these extremely modified ex-street cars. They start life as the 108" wheelbase (metric chassied or downsized) Monte Carlos, Cutlasses, or Regals built from 1978 to 1988. That's where the "stock" in stock car stops. Just about every piece except the front lower control arms and spindles are replaced with made-for-racing components. Racing springs, racing shocks, headers, four barrels, quick change rearends, adjustable brakes, they have it all. Running on 8" wide Hoosier rubber, these cars have over 400 hp and getting them around this tricky quarter mile is just a tick over 12 seconds is a skillful task indeed! Easy on the gas, easy on the brake, and turn the steering wheel the whole way around.

Eligible models include 1950 or newer American made models. Minimum wheelbase is 108", with Ford's allowed at 105". Frames are mostly stock with a few exceptions. (i.e. suspension). Engines are more restricted than Mid-American motors. The cars are generally heavier and feature a wide variety of styles - everything from a Buick Century to a 57' Chevy - A Monte Carlo to a Buick Regal. A claim of $750.00 and an exchange of an engine can be made of any driver who finishes on the same lap in the feature event. Tires are a very hard Goodyear compound and are 8 inches wide.

Eligible models include four cylinder compact cars foreign or domestic less than 104" wheelbase. Some engine modifications are allowed. Bodies and a bulk of the suspension parts must remain stock. These cars employ all the regular safety features of the bigger cars (i.e. 5 point harness, racing seat, etc.). Cars must run a minimum weight of 1,250 lbs. DOT legal 70 series tires are allowed.

The tracks's most absolute, bare-bones stock car available. 1964 or newer American made models with a 112" minimum wheelbase are eligible. Modifications are kept to a bare minimum, with mostly safety items being the most expensive parts on this car (racing seat, 5 point harness, racing suit and helmet). This class is designed specifically for the entry level driver who doesn't have a huge budget to work with.
